Visitor Visa
All visitors arriving in Indonesia must possess a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia and contains at least one blank page. For more information on the Indonesian Visa on Arrival Policy, please contact the nearest Indonesian Consulate or Embassy.
Tax & Service Charge and Billing Currency
- All rates are subject to 11% Government Tax and 10% Service Charge
- All room rates are quoted in US Dollars
- Final Billing however will be processed in Indonesia Rupiah based on the billing rate on the day of transaction
Guarantees
Credit Cards are required at the time of booking. Your card will be charged for 50% deposit to secure the booking. The name of the credit card holder must be the same as the guest’s name on the booking and credit card must be presented to the hotel upon check in. Completion of the booking, represents full understanding and agreement of the terms & conditions.
No Shows & Early Departures
No shows & early departures are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the full length of stay/total number of room nights originally reserved.
Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees are based on The Season
Low Season | 50% deposit is required to secure the booking, at the time of the booking. Balance payment will be expected on arrival. |
Cancellation made within 7 days prior are subject to ONE NIGHT cancellation fee. | |
High Season | 50% deposit or min1 night deposit is required to secure the booking, at the time of the booking. Balance payment will be expected on arrival. |
Cancellation made within 14 days prior are subject to ONE NIGHT cancellation fee. | |
Peak Season | Full payment is required at the time of booking and it is non-refundable. |

Please note:
It is the policy of The Colony Hotel that all guests sign a credit card authorization form at check-in to cover the possible cost of any damages that may occur to the rented premises due to the occupancy of the premises by the guest. All guests will also be required to sign a “Waiver of Liability “form at check in.
In 2025, Nyepi will fall on Saturday, 29 March. Please note that check-in and checkout will not be possible on Nyepi Day, and Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) will be closed. Some of the hotel facilities will operate as usual; however, there will be no transportation services to and from the hotel, and TV Cable will not be available. Lights will be dimmed inside and there will be no outdoor lighting. Our pool and poolside cafe areas will still be accessible.
We kindly invite you to respect this sacred day and observe these restrictions. Normal activity in Bali will resume at 6am on Sunday, 30 March.
Events
The Colony Hotel must approve any events you plan to hold during your stay. Such approval is at the sole discretion of The Colony Hotel. The Guest is responsible for the behavior of his or her guests at The Colony Hotel and in particular for the orderly conduct of guests attending any event in The Colony Hotel.
Damages, breakages or losses
Guests are responsible for looking after the property, leaving it in good order and in a clean condition. Guests also undertake to pay for damages, breakages or losses they may be responsible for during the period of their stay. The Colony Hotel reserves the right to reclaim the hired property if the hirer, members of the guest party or guest visitors cause excessive damage or mess.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, including evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, theft, cancellation and other travel contingencies.
Responsibility
Please be advised that we are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal equipment and property during your stay at The Colony Hotel, or during your participation in any activities during your visit to Bali. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which maybe caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
