With a height of 2,150 meters above sea level, it is also known as the virgin mountain as its nature is mostly untouched. Did you know that Mount Abang was once a part of Mount Batur? However, a colossal eruption happened that eventually formed Mount Abang. You will need around 2.5 hours to reach the summit, passing through green tropical forests and small Balinese temples. Expect to see cloud formations hovering over the lakes. On the you walk down, you can pop into at a traditional Bali coffee processing plantation where you can get a sample of Balinese coffee and tea.
