Celebrating its 10 th anniversary, the biggest dance festival in Asia has just announced it will relocate to Bali this year! It has been extended from a 2 day to a 3 day festival with The Weeknd, Armin Van Buuren, Alesso and DJ Snake announced as its first phase line up. Expect plenty of more prominent DJs and save your weekend from 7 – 9 December 2018 for DWP at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park.

This international electronic dance music festival will soon return to the beachside venue of the celebrated Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak. Although 2018 dates are yet to be confirmed, you can expect jaw-dropping stage productions with a full line up of world famous DJs. Annually held in Ubud, this literary event is currently the biggest in South East Asia. Writers, journalists, academics, artists and musicians fly to Bali from all over the world to amplify diverse voices and connect in insightful conversations. Bali Kite Festival

Kicking off during Bali’s windy season, this kite festival is usually held annually from July up to October during favorable weather. Now known as an international event, this unique cultural event began as an agricultural festival, held to give gratitude to the Hindu Gods for an abundance of crops and harvest. This competition attracts kite enthusiasts from all over the island to compete and win prizes. Held at Padang Galak on Sanur Beach, this festival is another event in Bali surely not to be missed.
